What Is a Call to Action?
A call to action is a word, phrase, or sentence that tells your readers exactly what you want them to do next. If you were creating a CTA for a television infomercial, it might look something like this:

In digital marketing, though, CTAs typically contain hyperlinks in a button. They take the reader to the specific destination you are promoting. A productive CTA is clear and evokes immediate action.
A CTA will take you to a sales page, landing page, blog post, newsletter signup form, or anything else you want to promote. The key is to make sure you convey value. You offer a solution to your customer's problems or needs; make sure you give them a clear CTA.
